Two of Southern Arizona's hottest young groups band together for an unforgettable night of acoustic music.
Existing in the tension between tradition and frontier, Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Contest winner and Prairie Home Companion guest, Run Boy Run, truly exceeds the sum of its parts as touches of classical, jazz, and folk express themselves through the old-time core of the band’s unique sound. The show will mark the release of their new full-length album 'Something to Someone', which was recorded with producers Ryan Hadlock and Jerry Streeter at Bear Creek Studios.
Named ‘Best Group/Duo’ in the 2014 International Acoustic Music Awards (IAMA’s), acoustic-duo Ryanhoodhave performed more than 800 shows in 42 U.S. states over the past decade. They’ve shared stages with Jason Mraz, Matt Nathanson, Train, Lifehouse, American Authors, and even been tweeted about by Ellen DeGeneres. Their airtight vocal harmonies, along with Ryan’s rapidly precise acoustic guitar riffs and Cameron’s soulfully rich lead vocals, create the distinguishable “Ryanhood” sound.
The show will feature a full-length set from both acts, as well as some unique collaborations between the groups.
